On April 17th 2017 my daughter Kyle verbally committed to play lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame. On June 30th that year she tore her ACL and with the recruiting rule change she had no ability to speak with the coaches. Lacrosse is her world. She was devastated and she was scared. After surgery on July 20th she started down the long road of physical therapy. The first 6 months of rehab went fine but she was not happy with the progress and as parents we were concerned about the risk of a re-tear or an injury to her other knee.
That is when we discovered Bill and the "Institute". Over the next 2+ months we drove 2 hours each way from our house in CT to work with Bill, Scott and the team at TSI. We saw a step change in her physical strength but more importantly in her confidence. The Dari system pinpointed areas of specific weakness and vulnerability and a custom rehab program was designed to get her healthy and back on the field. Top notch Physical Therapists and Trainers and the state of the art equipment and indoor turf field were the perfect combination to accelerate Kyle's recover and reduce the risk of a future injury.
Kyle was able to play in the last 4 games of the 2018 season and we are proud to say that in 2019 Kyle's high school team had their best year ever and Kyle set the school single season record for points and draw controls and was named a USA Lacrosse All-American. She still has 1 high school season remaining and is on track to attend Notre Dame in 2020 and play Lacrosse.
Injuries happen and when they do, TSI is the place to go. That being said, their injury prevention programs and diagnostic equipment are state of the art. My advice to parents is to invest a small amount of time and money in TSI's injury prevention and screening programs. They are well worth the time and money.
We are thankful to Bill, Scott and the team at TSI for everything they have done for Kyle.
Great facility! The physical therapists took the time to explain my injury and rehab to me and always made me feel welcome and cared for! Would definitely recommend!
I was a patient here undergoing physical therapy for my neck/shoulder. Both Bill V. and Bill Schwarz were top notch. Customer-focused and patient friendly from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. Would highly recommend their practice and this facility.
It is a great run therapy establishment catering to your best exercise to strengthen the areas that are injured. Great place very clean and friendly.
State of the art facility. Knowledgeable staff that take the time to review risks and issues and make sure that movements are performed correctly. Passionate about what they do.
